Common Sense is developing mobile sensing technologies that help communities gather and analyze environmental data. They hope that this hardware and software will empower everyday citizens to learn more about their environment and influence environmental regulations and policy.
We based the web design on our recent identity
work we had done for Intel Labs Berkelely. The site needed to tell the story of Common Sense technology that could help people in the future. It needed to be accesible to the press, city officials, governments, DIY personailites and fellow researchers and academics. We hand built the sie using clean HTML and CSS mark up so that their interl tech staff could edit the site themselves.
